The Kromski Sonata is a full-size spinning wheel that folds down easily to fit into its own padded bag, making it perfect for travel or safe storage. This single-drive Scotch tension wheel combines traditional beauty with modern engineering for an exceptionally smooth spinning experience.
Its self-lubricating front maiden bearing and sealed ball bearings at the wheel hub ensure effortless motion. Brass bearings on the treadles and plastic bearings in the bobbins further enhance durability and quiet operation. The Sonata also includes an onboard Lazy Kate with a two-bobbin capacity for convenient plying.
Each Sonata comes complete with a padded carrying bag, three bobbins (120 g/4.2 oz capacity), spinning wheel oil, and a threading hook. Made from beautiful European alder and birch wood, the wheel is supplied unfinished so you can choose your own finish. Whether you prefer a natural look or a rich stain, the wood’s grain shines through.
